Privacy overview
Last updated: March 2026
Origines.com is an independent editorial site. We aim to collect as little information as possible, explain what we do collect, and avoid surprises.
What this static site stores locally
If you use the optional dark-mode toggle, your preference may be saved in your browser’s local storage
under the key origines-theme. The EN/FR language
toggle may save origines-lang. These values never
leave your device and can be cleared in your browser settings.
Contact messages
The contact form is designed for editorial feedback. In the current static demo, submitting the form may open your
email client via a mailto: link. If you deploy
a server or third-party form provider, their privacy terms will apply—publish an updated policy when you do.
Images and embedded resources
Illustrations on this site are self-hosted SVG assets under /assets/images/.
Google Fonts stylesheets load from Google’s CDN; see their privacy notice if that matters for your deployment. You can
switch to fully local fonts if you prefer zero third-party requests.
Analytics
This template does not include analytics scripts. If you add analytics later, disclose the provider, what is measured, and how readers can opt out where applicable.
Children
Our content is general-audience educational material. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this page as the project grows. Substantive changes will be noted with a revised “last updated” date.
